United Methodist Women to Host Soup Sale on March 13
Last month the SOUPer Bowl of caring to tackle hunger was a huge success with $1,567 raised for 3 local hunger relief efforts: the Beth El Center, Milford Food Pantry and Summerfield UMC in Bridgeport.
The United Methodist Women at MTM-UMC are a self-funded, local chapter who fundraise to support inclusive projects and programs that benefit women, children and youth.
These ladies are no strangers to soup, as they usually host monthly soup sales in the winter to fund their giving. While our church campus has been closed due to Covid-19, the United Methodist Women funds have been depleting. This event is a chance for us to support women who do so much to improve our church community and local community. Please share with family and friends in Milford.
Soup may be picked up from 10a.m. to 11a.m. on Saturday, March 13 in the church parking lot. Soup can also be delivered to your home on that day. Suggested cost is $5 per pint. Please write checks to United Methodist Women.
