UM Army Comes to Milford & West Haven

From July 5th to 11th, Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church welcomed 32 participants for the UM Army program—United in Mission Action out Reach Mission by Youth.

The group, made up of middle and high school students along with several adults, successfully completed 20 project sites throughout Milford and West Haven. Their efforts included repairing wheelchair ramps and decks, tending to gardens, as well as painting numerous rooms to help those in need.

Mary Taylor Memorial UMC member Greg D'Andrea participated as the kitchen assistant, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the five work days. Greg provided some photos from the client appreciation dinner in Dodd Hall.
