STAINED GLASS WINDOW
RESTORATION HISTORY AND CAMPAIGN

We are in the process of restoring and remounting the stained glass windows in the Chapel in the Wesley Center.  They
were removed and put into storage to keep them from damage when new windows were put in several years ago.

Recently, the Stained Glass Committee was formed to determine a final plan.  Joan Zauner, Margery Zurko, Bill
Petremont and Jim Repetsky serve.  After review of many options, the Trustees and Church Council approved installation in
the north wall of the Chapel, between it and the church office.

The Church Council also gave permission to ask the general church family for donations to cover the cost of labor,
materials and installation.  This cost, and our goal, is $5,700.  Should we exceed this goal, additional funds will be used for
beautifying the Chapel.

To this end, the Stained Glass Committee asks you, the church members, for donations for this purpose.  Donations can
be made by using the regular offering envelopes in the pews by making note “For Stained Glass Windows” and the amount
you wish to contribute.  If you are paying by check, please make it payable to the church with the memo “Stained Glass
Windows.”

We are also looking for a copy of the inaugural booklet from the time the windows were first created and installed.  If
anyone has one, please contact us.  We wish to acknowledge all who worked on the original installation.

The stained glass windows are in the Chapel and can be seen on display there, as well as the final location of
installation.  Please speak with any of us to have a tour.  When you tour, please do not touch the windows as the metal
edges required for extra support will not be done until the final installation.

Thank you for your support of this restoration.
