"FAIR ON THE GREEN" June 3rd & 4th, 2011 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Now in its 40th year, our Fair on the Green is the major fundraiser for Mary Taylor Memorial
UMC. Church members plan for months for this two-day event, which was attended by over
7000 people in 2010.
What can you Find at the Fair on the Green????
Over 100 hand-crafters and fine artists display their work on our beautiful Milford Green.
Additional Fair Highlights
A plant and bake sale is provided by church members.
The ever popular "Trash 'n Treasures" tag sale
Food booths that include delicious Hummel hot dogs and hamburgers,
Beverages,
Vegetarian burritos, made while you wait to make sure they are fresh
Funnel cakes,
AND our Signature Recipe Strawberry Shortcake.
This year's Fair on the Green will be held on Friday, June 3rd and Saturday, June 4th.


Fees for Artists & Crafters:
EARLY Registration One Day - $90 Both days -$105
Registration after April 15th One day - $100 Both days - $115
Perks! Exhibitors will receive $5 in food tickets plus complimentary coffee and/or hot tea.
Exhibitors who refer a new handcrafter/fine artist who qualifies and registers for our Fair will receive a $10 discount/refund off their registration fee.
Our hospitality committee is happy to relieve exhibitors if they wish to take a break. Someone from the committee will come to register a break time and a hospitality committee member will be happy to cover a booth while the exhibitor is away. We also provide food runners who will be happy to deliver requested food orders.
Indoor Restroom's are available in the Education building (Wesley Center) on Friday & Saturday.

IMPORTANT FAIR INFORMATION - continued
Setup may begin at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday; however, we
encourage you to set up on Friday morning.
If you are participating Saturday only, you may not set up
your display until 4:00 P.M. on Friday.
Please be considerate of “traffic flow” to all exhibitors as you
set up. Setup is at your own risk.
We do not provide security through the night.
If you need electricity for your display booth, be sure to set
up near an outlet (located by any tree). Check to make sure
it is operational before you set up.
Registration begins at 7:00 A.M. on Friday. You must sign
in at the Registration Table upon arrival. You do not need
to check in each day. At registration you will receive a tag
that must be displayed at your booth. You will also receive
$5 in food tickets to be used toward your meals and a
$10.00 refund if your referred a qualifying and participating
exhibitor. The Registration Table is located on the church
property.

IMPORTANT FAIR INFORMATION FOR VENDORS
As we strive to maintain a quality Fair, we only seek
hand-crafted or fine arts items. If you did not participate in
our 2010 Fair, and are not on our Pre-approved vendor list,
you must submit for approval, photos of every craft type
and/or fine art that you will be selling, as well as a photo(s)
of the area the have an official craft area, you must submit
photos of the materials you use (i.e. shelves of yarn, fabric,
paints, canvas, beads, wood, natural materials, etc.)
All entries will be carefully screened for the following:
1. Only fine art and/or items handcrafted by the exhibitor will
be allowed.
No agents, kits, dealer-purchased items, imports or raffles
will be accepted.
2. All jewelry items must be handmade by the vendor. No
manufactured jewelry, retailers or flea market setups will be
accepted.




We do not reserve spaces. They are on a first come, first
served basis. Our green is one of the largest in New
England and easily accommodates our approved exhibitors.
Reminder: Stakes in the ground are not permitted; please
use weights such as sand-filled buckets or cinderblocks.
Canopies are encouraged.
Parking in our lot is reserved for the first 40 exhibitors to
apply. If you have been approved for a space in our lot,
please bring the enclosed parking pass with you and
present it to the parking attendant. One space will be
designated. If you have a vehicle and a trailer, the trailer
will be accepted, but the vehicle must be parked in an
available lot or on one of the side streets where allowed.
Please do not park on the Green. You will be taking up a
space for a customer!
